Directed by Antoine Fuqua, Michael was initially scheduled to be released in American theaters on April 18, 2025. But the Lionsgate studio has now moved the release date to October 3, 2025 in the United States. It will be October 1st in France.
The filming, with the nephew Jaafar Jackson in the main role, is normally completed. But with a colossal budget of $155 million, the studio wants to take its time.
The film will also feature Colman Domingo in the role of Joe Jackson, Nia Long in that of Katherine Jackson, and Miles Teller in that of lawyer John Branca.
