Formula 1 on Netflix is not just the docuseries Pilots of their destiny. Now it is also Sennathe biopic dedicated to Ayrton Senna (played by Gabriel Leone). A mini-series in six episodes, which will tell the story of the legendary Brazilian pilot who died in 1994 at Imola.
The trailer promises a series at a thousand miles per hour, to the glory of the driver, icon of Brazil and motorsport. We will put ourselves in his place in the seats of McLaren and we will see his rivalry with a certain Alain Prost (played by Matt Mella). The series will also invent a love story for him with a journalist played by Kaya Scodelario.
Senna will tell the legend “through the obstacles he overcame, his ups and downs, his joys and sorrows, exploring his personality and personal relationships. The starting point of the miniseries will be the start of the career of the three-time Formula champion 1, when Ayrton Senna moved to England to race in Formula Ford, until the tragic accident in Imola, Italy, during the San Marino Grand Prix.”
Senna will be released on November 29 on Netflix.
