A new black comedy for Prime Video.

This is a series that risks sticking. The Sticky arrives on Prime Video and the streaming platform has just revealed the trailer for this Canadian thriller carried by Margo Martindale into a maple syrup producer transformed into a robber.

The synopsis: “Ruth Landry is a tough maple syrup producer who turns to crime when bureaucratic authorities threaten to take everything she loves. She teams up with a short-tempered Boston mobster and a French security guard. mild-mannered Canadian to carry out a multi-million dollar heist of Quebec's maple syrup surplus.”

The Oscar winner Jamie Lee Curtis will also be in the cast of this black comedy directed by the showrunners Ed Herro And Brian Donovan (American Housewife).

The series is inspired by a real-life heist that made headlines in 2012, during which more than $18 million (!) worth of maple syrup was stolen from Quebec's national reserves.

Released Friday, December 6. All six episodes will be broadcast at the same time.
