New images have leaked on the networks.

After a first glimpse of Nicolas Cage on the set of Spider-Blackthe live-action Prime Video series dedicated to Spider-Man in black and white from the 1930s, new images have just leaked online, revealing the first look at the live-action costume that will be worn Nicolas Cage.

These images even show an action sequence with a stunt double wearing the costume of Spider-Man Black on the roof of an old car. We see Spider-Man Black struggling to stand on the car before miming throwing a web at it and trying to swing. All this in front of green screens, obviously, to allow special effects to be added in post-production.

Remember that Cage plays the Spider-Man Black of the series, a character that he voices in the animated saga Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse and who will therefore be entitled to its live action version. The costume revealed in these photos is very close to that of the 2018 animated film.

Oren Uziel and Steve Lightfoot are the co-showrunners of the series. Lamorne Morris will play Robbie Robertson while Brendan Gleeson will be the big bad.

According to the official synopsis, the series “tells the story of an aging, down-on-his-luck private detective in 1930s New York who is forced to confront his past life as the city's one and only superhero.”

Spider-Black will make 8 episodes. No release date yet on Prime Video.
