Pitfall was released for the Atari 2600 in 1982.
Jack Black will return this Sunday on TF1 in Jumanji: next level (2019), the sequel to Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle (2017), which was already a sequel to the family film of Joe Johnston released in 1995, and which reworked its concept. In this version which was a hit in the cinema, it is not the wild animals which invade the city when we play Jumanji, but “gamers” who find themselves in the middle of the jungle when they launch the game (video). Among the selected avatars is an explorer specializing in cartography played by the star of Rock Academy. A crazy role, which he returned to with pleasure for this new opus rebroadcast this weekend on television.
How Jumanji 2 will be connected to Robin Williams' story
To promote this funny sequel, the actor posted on his account Instagram a short video where we see him, as a child, presenting a video game which strangely evokes the concept of the new Jumanji. “Last night I was lost in the jungle with Pitfall Harry, surrounded by giant scorpions and crocodiles…”
