Amanda Waller and Rick Flag break monsters from prison to lead a suicide mission. We've seen this before somewhere, right?

Suicide Squad bis. After remaking David Ayer's film, James Gunn puts it back on and reveals its Creature Commandos. The trailer has just been released online by Warner Bros. and promises a trashy and bloody animated series, totally aimed at adults.

We see the gang of monsters who will be released from prison by Amanda Waller (with Viola Davis in the voice casting), to carry out an impossible mission, under the leadership of Colonel Rick Flag Sr. (voiced by Frank Grillo). Yes, it's exactly like Suicide Squad, except that the creatures will be different: we will have Princess Ilana (Maria Bakalova), we will have Circe (Anya Chalotra), Nina Mazursky (Zoe Chao), and also Dr. Phosphorus, a robot psychopathic Nazi hunter and a bloodthirsty weasel.

DC/Warner Bros.

Creature Commandoswill be broadcast from Thursday December 5 on the Max platform in France. The first season will consist of 7 episodes, with a new episode airing each week until January 16.

It should be noted that this is the first official entry in the brand new DC universe from James Gunn and Peter Safran. Written and produced by Gunn, Creature Commandos will therefore be included in the mythology of Chapter 1: Gods & Monsters. Waiting for the film to come out Superman with David Corenswet, July 11, 2025 at the cinema.
