Slow Horses will continue for a long time: season 6 ordered

Gary Oldman will remain in the stable until at least 2026.

No, Jackson Lamb, retirement is not for now! The English series Slow Horses has just been renewed by Apple TV+ for the long term. While season 4 has just ended, and season 5, currently filming, is already in sight for next year, the Apple platform has just ordered the sixth season of Slow Horses.

It will be adapted from the books “Joe Country” and “Slough House”, volumes 6 and 7 of Mick Herron’s literary saga. This season 6 of Slow Horses will be composed of 6 episodes and will be broadcast in 2026 on the platform (and also Canal + in France).

The pitch? “In season 6, the team of Slow Horses is on the run, after Diana Taverner involves them in a dangerous game of retaliation and revenge.”

At the casting, Gary Oldman will be back in the shoes of the irascible Jackson Lamb, alongside Kristin Scott Thomas, Jack Lowden etc.

Before that we will see season 5 of Slow Horses in 2025: “Distrust grows when Roddy Ho, the team's geek, has a charming new girlfriend.
