While his films Horizon: An American Saga will not be the expected successes, Kevin Costner embarks on a new project.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, he will star in Headhuntersa film for which he co-wrote the screenplay with Steven Hollerana former cinematographer who will make his directorial debut with Headhunters.

Kevin Costner will play Lazer, “an American expat with a mysterious past who finds himself living in Bali, Indonesia. He recruits a group of surfers led by Bima, a local photographer, for a trip to an uncharted island to find a perfect wave. To their surprise, the island is home to an ancient tribe of headhunters who protect the land at all costs. What follows is a survival story of epic and bloody proportions on a tropical island that once seemed like paradise… but is actually closer to hell“.

Daniel Zovatto (The Vatican Exorcist) will be in the cast alongside Costner.

The filming of Headhunters is scheduled to begin in Hawaii in November. The release date has not yet been set. According to the latest news, Kevin Costner always intended to do Horizon: An American Saga — Chapter 3.
