Bill Lawrence suggests season 2 could be adapted from the novel Razor Girl, the literary sequel to Bad Monkey by Carl Hiaasen. “He wanted to write a second book showing Yancy on a journey to becoming a guy who no longer gets in the way of his own happiness.”
