1 dead, 1 injured in crash along 5 Freeway in Boyle Heights – NBC Los Angeles

Officials responded to a deadly traffic incident on the 5 Freeway in Boyle Heights.

Los Angeles fire officials said the incident happened at around 4:17 p.m. along the freeway near the Grande Vista exit.

At least one person was dead, and another person was injured, officials said. Both were in the same car.
