Christopher Nolan is preparing a film for 2026 with Matt Damon

We don't yet know what it will be about, but the director should stay at Universal.

Last year, Christopher Nolan was going out Oppenheimer at the cinema, his first Nolan film outside of Warner Bros. in 20 years. After the Dark Knight trilogy and other Inceptionthe director produced his biopic at competitor Universal. The prize: $950 million in revenue and 7 Oscars, including best director and best film.

As you don't change a team that wins so much, Christopher Nolan will stay at Universal for his next film. We don't yet know what it will be called or what it will talk about, but it should count Matt Damon to the casting.

The actor of Jason Bournealready crossed with Nolan in Interstellar And Oppenheimeris in talks to play the lead role, according to Variety.

Christopher Nolan should write and produce with Emma Thomas (under the Syncopy banner). A release would already be planned for July 17, 2026 in the cinema, exactly three years later Oppenheimer.
