Marvel plans to put its blockbuster in the spotlight during the upcoming ceremonies.

Marvel Studios intends to add a little prestige to the 1.3 billion dollars in revenue of Deadpool & Wolverine.

According to Variety, Disney has launched a campaign in Hollywood so that Shawn Levy's film is recognized during the upcoming ceremonies and that Ryan Reynolds And Hugh Jackman are named. At least at the Golden Globes!

Deadpool 3 will be in the running for a spot in the Best Comedy of the Year category. While Ryan Reynolds will seek a Best Actor trophy (comedy or musical). Hugh Jackmanhe will apply in the category of Best Supporting Male Roles. According to Variety, there is a chance that they will be in the running at the 2025 Golden Globes next January, then at the Screen Actors Guild Awards, at the Critics Choice Awards.. And at the Oscars?

This is much less likely. Deadpool & Wolverine will, according to Variety, seek nominations in technical categories including production design, sound and visual effects. There is little chance that Hugh Jackman And Ryan Reynolds land a spot among the Best Actors knowing that in its entire history, Marvel has only received 27 Oscar nominations in total (and won 4 statuettes in the process).

Clearly, the best chance for success will be at the Golden Globes. Already because the film is guaranteed to obtain a place in the category Cinema and Box Office Achievement of the Golden Globes, recently introduced to put blockbusters in the spotlight. Then because we remember that Dead Pool (2016) was entitled to two nominations including best film (musical or comedy) and best actor for Reynolds.

Voters also offered Hugh Jackman a Best Actor statuette for Les Miserables (2012). The actor therefore has a real chance at the Golden Globes (because dramas and comedies are divided into two categories). For the Oscars, it will be more complicated, even if we remember that the actor had also gleaned a nomination at the time for Les Miserables.
