The released trailer begins with the father, played by Mackie, saying, “It's not what you lost that's important, it's important to fight for what you left behind.'' When he returns to his home in the Rocky Mountains, he realizes that there are terrifying monsters in the post-apocalyptic world.
The woman played by Baccarin said, “Once you cross that line, 'they' are waiting for you.'' When the father and two women cross the “line” with guns, a mysterious giant creature attacks them. Will they be able to survive as they run across vast mountainous terrain and fight against invisible predators? “Marignant: A Violent Nightmare” (2021)Maddie HassonThe woman who plays the character says, “We can't coexist with them. Many of us will die. They are the new apex predators of the earth.''
What is noteworthy is the location shooting in a land rich in nature and the strong camera work. The director of photography was Shelley Johnson, who worked on Captain America: The First Avenger (2011), The Final Plan (2020) starring Liam Neeson, and Blacklight (2022).
The script was written by John Glenn, who also wrote Eagle Eye (2008). In addition to Mackie and director Nolfi, the film was produced by Brad Fuller, director of A Quiet Place and The Purge.
The movie “Elevation” is scheduled to be released in the US on November 8, 2024..
