The end of password sharing on Disney Plus is now a reality

“Your subscription Disney Plus is intended for use within your household, which is a set of devices associated with your primary personal residence that are used by persons residing thereint”. This is how Disney announces (via Variety) to its subscribers that they will now have to pay an additional cost to share their password Disney Plus !

After Netflix, the big-eared streamer is also tackling the famous password sharing. And since today, subscribers around the world (United States, Canada, all of Europe and the Asia-Pacific region) who want to share their account with a friend or cousin Disney Pluswill no longer be allowed to do so for free. They will have to subscribe to a special offer and pay extra.

How much does Disney Plus account sharing cost?

You will have to add $6.99 per month for a Standard account and $9.99 if you add a user to a Premium account will have to pay monthly. The price in euros has not yet been revealed but should be around €6 for the standard and €9 for the premium. It is important to note that each account will only be able to add one additional member.
