Sandman is back! Netflix reveals the first look at season 2

The streamer unveils a behind-the-scenes video of the production currently underway.

More than two years after the highly successful first season of Sandmanthe adaptation of the comics of Neil Gaiman is making its way back to Netflix. Season 2 took a while to film, but this time, it’s on its way. And the streamer is giving us a first glimpse of what’s in store through this first behind-the-scenes video.

We find there Tom Sturridge (as Dream) who organizes a banquet for a group of deities and the phantasmagorical settings which will once again frame this fairy tale. Gwendoline ChristieKirby, Mason Alexander Park, Donna Preston, Jenna Coleman, Steven Fry, Vanesu Samunyai, Ferdinand Kingsley, Asim Chaudhry, Sanjeev Bhaskar and Razane Jammal will return to the cast.

Among the newcomers, we will see in this season 2 the siblings of Dream, previously unknown: Delirium (who will be played by Esme Creed-Miles of Hanna), Destiny (Adrian Lester of Primary Colors) and The Prodigal (Barry Sloane of Revenge).

Sandmanseason 2, will be available in 2025 on Netflix.
