He had pulled off a nice coup in 2020, proving with Palm Springs (on Hulu and Prime Video in France), that it was possible to make a good streaming film. Max Barbakow is back with another comedy for the Amazon platform. After the sci-fi romantic comedy starring Andy Samberg and Cristin Milioti, the director is staging a crazy duo: Josh Brolin And Peter Dinklage.
The star of the MCU and that of Game of Thrones are downright brothers in Brothersor the story of a crime family. One is the brains, the other the brawn. They do everything together and carry out robberies until one day one of them hangs up.
Josh Brolin embodies this “A reformed criminal whose attempt to get back on the straight and narrow is derailed when he reunites with his mentally challenged twin brother on a cross-country road trip for the score of a lifetime. Dodging bullets, the law, and an overbearing mother, they must heal their fractured family bond before they kill each other.”
Taylour Paige, M. Emmet Walsh, Jennifer Landon, Brendan Fraser and Glenn Close round out the cast.
Brothers will be released on October 17, 2024 on Prime Video in France.
