Fiery rhetoric

EXCLUSIVE: Former President Trump said the “rhetoric” of President Biden and Vice President Harris was the cause of the “shots fired” at him, following the second assassination attempt on his life since July, while telling Fox News Digital that the suspected shooter “acted” on “highly inflammatory language” from Democrats.

Trump spoke exclusively to Fox News Digital on Monday morning, just a day after he was evicted from the Trump International golf course in West Palm Beach, Florida, after the Secret Service discovered an armed man in the bushes.

The alleged shooter, Ryan Wesley Routh, had an AK-47 rifle pointed through the chain-link fence toward the green, a Go-Pro camera and two backpacks. He fled the scene but was arrested on I-95.

Authorities are treating the episode as an apparent assassination attempt on Trump.
