As expected, the American-Japanese series left only crumbs for the competition. Hacks and The Bear shared the comedy awards.

Eighteen. That will now be the score to beat! By winning 18 Emmy Awards This year, Shogun completely crushed the competition, during a somewhat dull 76th ceremony, last night in Los Angeles. The American-Japanese medieval series – broadcast in France on Disney Plus – had a total of 25 nominations before the start of the festivities and therefore converted three quarters of them, notably winning the grand prize for Best Drama, then those for Best Actress for Anna Sawai and Best Actor for Hiroyuki Sanada. On the comedy side, The Bear – also broadcast in France on Disney Plus – took the lion's share, leaving with 11 statuettes (a record for a comedy, already held by itself). But Hacks – broadcast in France on Max – prevented a total victory, since she left with the major prize for Best Comedy and Best Actress for Jean Smart. Finally, it should be noted that My Little Reindeerthe Netflix phenomenon, has taken over the Best Limited Series.
