Elizabeth Olsen Admits: 'Marvel Didn't Know What to Do With Scarlet Witch'

Wanda Maximoff's strange evolution has left MCU fans baffled. And her actress too.

“It's a character that I could see myself playing again one day… if there's a way to use it well.” decrypt today Elizabeth Olsen in an interview with FM104 (via Collider). She explains:

“I was lucky because at the beginning, I was used well. They knew how to evolve Wanda. But after WandaVision, I think the people at Marvel didn't know what to do with me or how to use Scarlet Witch (in the MCU). But if there's a good way to use her and bring her back, I'm always happy to come back.”

Because after his strange journey in the Multiverse of MadnessWanda was finally killed… crushed under rocks (?!). A strange fate for such a cosmic entity, which suggests that she is not dead but still dormant.

The fact remains that for the moment, there is no intention of bringing her back to Marvel.
