Warning: tears ahead! The next DreamWorks animated film promises to be particularly rich in emotions, judging by the new trailer just released by Universal Pictures. The Wild Robot was unveiled these days at the Toronto International Film Festival and was warmly received by the press.
So the video goes all out on the rave reviews and the story of Roz, who suddenly becomes the foster mother of a little orphaned chick. It also evokes the close bond that the android will weave with the animals of the forest…
Roz is “un robot – ROZZUM Unit 7134 aka “Roz” – who is shipwrecked on a desert island and must learn to adapt to a hostile environment by gradually building relationships with the island’s animals. She ends up adopting a goose chick, a gosling, who finds herself orphaned.” details the official synopsis.
Directed by Chris Sanderswho had co-signed Dragons (2010) or The Croods (2013), The Wild Robot reunites Lupita Nyong'o and Pedro Pascal in the voice cast (in original version). Released on October 9, 2024 in theaters in France.
