Good Omens Season 3 Shut Down After Neil Gaiman Allegations

The English author faces allegations of sexual assault. Amazon has chosen to put his series on hold.

Will we have the end of Good Omens one day? A year after the series was renewed for a third season, the last of the series, the American press reports that the production of this season 3 was interrupted following the serious allegations against the showrunner Neil Gaimanthe author behind the books (along with Terry Pratchett).

According to Deadline, filming has been put on hold.indefinitely“and we don't know when (if?) it will resume.

It appears that Amazon, the studio behind the series, is considering a production shakeup to address the issue.

The allegations against Gaiman were made by four different women, who accuse the writer of sexual assault. They shared their testimonies via a podcast. Entitled Master: the Allegations Against Neil Gaimanthe podcast was released by Tortoise Media earlier this summer. However, Gaiman has denied all of these allegations so far.

Season 3 of Good Omens was only filming for a few days. It is scheduled to be released in 2025 on Prime Video.
