A new HBO series called The Franchise, from the creator of Veep.
Himesh Patel And Pierre Niney same fight. After the Fiasco from Netflix, here it is The Franchiseon HBO, which will tell the story of a shoot that goes to pot. This time, it will be a behind-the-scenes look at a Marvel superhero franchise. A huge machine that must move forward, no matter what, and which will obviously make fun of the MCU and other DCUs. The first trailer shows Himesh Patel (Yesterday) juggling chaos (see below).
“The Franchise follows the crew of a misbegotten film franchise as they fight for their place in a wild and unruly cinematic universe.” tease the synopsis of the series. This comedy shines a light on the secret chaos that reigns in the world of superhero cinema, to ask the question: how exactly are cinematic sausages made? Because every piece of crap has an origin story.“
This sets the scene. The series is signed Armando Ianucciwho had created Veep a decade ago. Sam Mendes is one of the producers and directed the first episode.
The cast will also include: Aya Cash as an assistant, Billy Magnussen as the star of the film, Richard E. Grant as a drunk old actor and Daniel Brühl as a director.
