POLICE SAY SEVAKIS RAN INTO THE BACK OF ONE VEHICLE, SENDING IT INTO A THIRD. POLICE ALSO SAY SEVAKIS WAS UNSTEADY ON HIS FEET AND HIS EYES WERE BLOODSHOT. A former district judge, who resigned his seat amid allegations of misconduct involving three teenage boys earlier this year, is now facing DUI charges.A criminal complaint said Anthony Saveikis, 57, of Coraopolis, was charged following a three-vehicle crash at Banksville Road and Crane Avenue in Pittsburgh on Friday night.Police said Saveikis ran into the back of one vehicle, sending it into a third vehicle.The crash was described as a minor fender bender. Police said Saveikis was unsteady on his feet and his eyes were bloodshot.Witnesses said they’d seen him drinking at the nearby Lebanese Food Festival before the crash.Police said, when Saveikis provided a breath sample for chemical testing, the results showed his blood alcohol content was more than twice the legal limit.Saveikis faces a preliminary hearing in October on the DUI charges.He does not face any criminal charges related to the earlier misconduct accusations.
