Jean-Pascal Zadi and Eric Judor are unstoppable behind the scenes of the series.

Firmly anchored in second place on the Netflix Top, season 2 ofIn Place is already a success. And to extend this success, what could be better than a making-of, a nest of anecdotes and other jokes? Released this weekend, it is the continuation of the series, between complicity and second degree.

Created by Jean-Pascal Zadi And Francois Uzan, In place tells the story of the first black man elected President of the Republic in France. In season 2, he takes up residence at the Elysée, not without a few pitfalls, and must face threats from all sides. A turbulent start to his term. Watching the making-of, we realize that the energy but also the irony that drives the characters is found outside of filming.

We follow them as well in the gardens of the Presidency as in one of the lounges during a protocol ceremony with dignitaries from Norway, or even in Guadeloupe for an official trip of the Head of State. The opportunity also to see new protagonists, embodied by Alain Chabat, Raphael Quenard and Marvin Anthony as the recurring characters played by Marina Foïs, Fadily Camara, Benoît Poelvoorde…without forgetting the eternal Jean-Pascal Zadi and his partner Eric Judor.

A sort of clumsy spin-doctor, the latter gives (bad) advice to President Blé and foments bad tricks. In the making-of, lasting 13 minutes, we can see that the Zadi/Judor association is working at full speed, making the teams laugh by overplaying their respective roles or by inventing personalities that are the opposite of theirs. Without revealing too much if you haven't seen season 2, this clip shows the good, communicative atmosphere that reigns on the set. An atmosphere particularly conducive to the smooth running of the series. Contagious.
