“Is it ugly and cold? Is everything gray? Find a cinema that shows Mamma Miaa new anti-depression method. To do this, you have to let yourself be carried away by the music, the colors and the warmth of Greece. If, at first, you wonder what these hysterics are doing in the film (in the first few minutes, you feel like you've fallen into a chicken coop), you quickly get caught up in the musical comedy that opens your eyes wide to Meryl Streep's performance, mind-blowing as she carries the film and the spectators. Because it is she who carries the film, sings, dances but who, strangely, convinces us less in the more dramatic passages.

The three men have trouble keeping up the pace but still treat us in this “Greek tragedy”which also offers some nice little roles to the supporting actors including the cute Amanda Seyfried, a pretty blonde with a tanned complexion who makes us want to go and visit Greece.”
