Netflix's The Diplomat Announces Its Return: Find Out the Date of Season 2

Keri Russell will return to the embassy in a few weeks.

No, it's not Michel Barnier. The Diplomat from Netflix, it's Keri Russell and after a successful first season, Netflix today reveals the date of season 2: it will be October 31st.

So what will it be about?
Spoiler alert! At the end of season 1, Kate Wyler (Russell) and Foreign Secretary Austin Dennison (David Gyasi) were in danger after uncovering the conspiracy behind the attack on the British aircraft carrier. Meanwhile, a car explosion appeared to have claimed the life of Kate's husband Hal (Rufus Sewell) and Deputy Head of Mission Stuart Hayford (Ato Essandoh).

The Season 2 teaser released today (above) confirms that Hal and Stuart both survived the car bomb. The video also reveals the arrival ofAllison Janney as US Vice President Grace Penn. Apparently, she'll have something to hide…
