Sylvester Stallone says he has written “a few pages” of a new Rocky.
A real sea serpent, the prequel to Rocky Will it finally see the light of day? It is on the right track if we are to believe what is announced Sylvester Stallone to the British podcast Inspire Me. Inimitable joker, Sly explains that after having thought for years about writing the film, he is now at a very concrete outline:
“I wrote a few pages and it seems to be happening all by itself, we see Adrian at 15, Rocky at 17 and Paulie moving to a new neighborhood.” he promises enthusiastically.
He then continues and even attempts a connection… one of the most surprising:
“Rocky is the bad boy, it's almost Lady and the Trampbut with real people, it's going to be wonderful.”
He who saw his career explode thanks to the success of the first Rockyis making a return to the roots that should make fans salivate.
Because the character of the Philadelphia boxer, modest but shrewd, is ultimately the alter ego of Sylvester Stallone, a complete unknown who became a giant ofHollywood. In 1976, when he wrote the first part, he insisted on playing the title role. It was a good decision for him because he would be at the same time director, screenwriter and main actor of episodes 2, 3, 4 and 6. A gluttony that would definitively establish him as a unique actor, a proud representative of the action film for decades, Rambo Then Expendables as spearheads. Now 78 years old, Stallone once again agrees to take up the gauntlet.
