Big program for the 2024 edition of the La Rochelle fiction festival, an event mainly dedicated to series and TV films. Many preview screenings will take place from September 10 to 15, including the live action adaptation of Cat's Eyes (the first two episodes of this TF1 version will be presented), Children are kings (adaptation of the novel by Delphine de Vigan, with Géraldine Nakache and Doria Tillier. Coming soon on Disney+), Indian Cemetery (new original Canal+ creation) or A devoted friend (Max series with Laure Calamy).
In the French TV film competition, the jury chaired by actor Thierry Godard will have to decide between projects as diverse as On trial (with Bernard Campan), Blessed be Sistine (a woman rebuilds herself after a marriage with a fundamentalist Catholic) or I won't let this happen again (Yolande Moreau takes revenge on all the evil individuals she has encountered in her life).
In terms of series of 52, 26 and less than 20 minutes, festival-goers will be able to discover Iris (by and with Doria Tillier), Fortune of France (which takes place in 1557 in the Périgord Noir!), Rub Rub (hotel maids' strike), That night (a teenager sneaks out and the next day her family has disappeared) and Carbon Generations (short episode comedy series).
