Director Eric Lavaine explains that he would like to send his group of friends towards new horizons…

Eight years later, we take the same people and we start again. Except that this time, they are no longer going on holiday to the Cévennes but to Brittany! Jean-Mich's gang is arriving tonight on TF1 for Planchathe continuation of Barbecue (2014), which was released in theaters in 2022. So after the discovery of the Fest-Noz, will they sign up for a 3rd adventure?

The director, Eric Lavainehas not yet officially announced anything. But at the time of the release of Planchahe already mentioned the idea of ​​making a third film, which would send the friends… abroad.

“Wok in Thailand, with all the actors“, replied the director in an interview given to the website Sortir à Paris. “We can indeed decline the holidays with friends in other places. So yes, after Barbecue in the Cévennes, Plancha in Brittany, Wok in Thailand, why not! Or Raclette in the mountains? But that will only be if I have a good subject…”

The idea of Wok in Thailand still comes back in another interview with BFM: “I'm interested in double meaning. I have ideas about the deconstructed man and what's happening right now. But nothing concrete for the moment. I'm not looking to make a saga..”

So in a few years? The little problem is that Plancha didn't work. With 600,000 admissions in France, it made 1 million less than Barbecue…
