Kelly Reilly is set to direct the sequel to the saga, starring Cole Hauser.

The ranch won't be closing its doors right away. While the series had been announced as canceled by Paramount following the poorly managed departure of Kevin Costner, Yellowstone could finally be renewed for a season 6!

Paramount

Kelly Reilly And Cole Hauser are expected to take over at the helm of the western drama Taylor Sheridanaccording to the American press. The series should therefore now focus on the newlyweds Beth Dutton and Rip Wheeler. At one time, Paramount considered integrating them into the new spin-off, The Madisonstarring Michelle Pfeiffer and Matthew Fox. But the studio apparently felt it would be more effective to continue with them under the brand Yellowstone.

The announcement is not yet official. Negotiations are underway. And before considering a season 6, we are already waiting to see season 5B, which will start on Sunday, November 10 on Paramount + and which has been desired for over a year.

The fact remains that all this will be without Kevin Costner: “I won't be able to continue, neither season 5B nor the following ones.” he said recently.
