A great success in theaters this summer, Alien: Romulus grossed $225 million worldwide and appears to be paving the way for a strong comeback for the franchise. Alienwhich will begin to be released on the small screen with the television series Alien: Earth.
Some American cinemas even took advantage of the screening of Fede Álvarez's film to unveil the first teaser ofAlien: Earth (below). A few seconds showing a Xenomorph with our dear blue planet in its sights.
Alien: Earth will take place approximately 70 years in the future and 30 years before the events of the original film directed by Ridley Scott. There will be no Ellen Ripley and the story will take place on Earth and not in space! The saga will tell us about the emergence of the infamous Weyland-Yutani Corporation.
Written and directed by Noah Hawleyto whom we owe the brilliant series Fargo And Legionthis series Alien: Earth will be released in 2025 on the FX channel and on Disney Plus in France.
The casting will be carried by Sydney Chandler (the daughter of actor Kyle Chandler), and also by Alex Lawther, Samuel Blenkin and Timothy Olyphant.
