The sitcom returns to Netflix for a third season available on the platform from August 22.

Second sequel to the Fox sitcom that brought together Hollywood's leading couple, Ashton Kutcher And Mila Kunis in the 1990s, That '90s Show has been following a new generation of Formans and Kelsos for two seasons now.

Today, Netflix unveils the crazy trailer for a third installment that will surely surprise more than one. Mischief galore, romantic imbroglio, strained family relationships and iconic surprise returns… These first exclusive images promise laughter… but also a few tears.

This next chapter will see the return of the happy band, led by Leia (Callie Haverda), for a summer with her grandparents, Kitty (Debra Jo Rupp) and Red (Kurtwood Smith) Forman. But, surprise! In addition to Gwen Runck (Ashely Aufderheide), Jay Kelso (Mace Coronel), Nate Runck (Maxwell Acee Donovan), Ozzie (King Doi), Nikki (Sam Morelos) or Sherri Runck (Andrea Anders), the cast is swollen with a new character: that of Betsy Kelso, played by Kira Kosarinextra preview on Disney Channel in Shake It Up!and above all, the main role of Thunderman from Nickelodeon.

A resounding arrival, because the most assiduous spectators will recognize in Betsy the hidden daughter of Michael Kelso (Ashton Kutcher) and Brooke Rockwell (Shannon Elizabeth). Many adventures before That '90s Showthe two characters had shared more than a Molly Hatchet concert. At the end of season 8 of the parent series, Michael had decided to move to Chicago to be closer to his daughter. However, in the nineties, we find him settled in Point Place, married to Jackie and father of Jay. It will therefore be interesting to see how the community will react to this nice snub from the past.

Besides this twist, the trailer also sets up a handful of other cameos: Jim Rash, Bob Clendenin And Seth Greenall three survivors of That '70s Showbut also Cedric Yarbrough (Reno 911), and WWE wrestler Michael Mizaninsaid “The Miz”.

Laura Prepon (Donna Pinciotti since That '70s Showbut also Alex Vause in Orange Is the New Black), has put his hand to the dough twice over for this new season. “She directed the whole of the third part and also appears a lot in the role of Donna”confides Gregg Mettlershowrunner of the sitcom, at TVLine.

To discover this third part, you won't have to wait very long: the eight episodes will be available from August 22 on Netflix.
