Frozen 3 has an official release date

Elsa and Anna will celebrate Thanksgiving in 2027.

The return to Arendelle is now on the calendar. According to Variety, Disney has added Frozen 3 to its cinema release schedule communicated to the press. And Elsa and Anna will resume their frozen adventures on Wednesday, November 24, 2027 in theaters in the United States. Most certainly, the same date will be kept in France.

A date that was not chosen at random: it will be the long Thanksgiving weekend in the USA. Frozen 3 will therefore be released a little earlier (Wednesday instead of Friday in the USA) to take full advantage of the public holidays – the following Thursday and Friday – to fill theaters until the Christmas holidays.

Because the saga Frozen is a major financial stake for the studio. The first two installments have crossed the billion dollar mark in revenue, not to mention the derivative products. A cash machine that Disney carefully maintains by offering it one of the most profitable slots of the cinema year.

In addition, the studio has also scheduled a new Pixar film: Hoppers will be released in theaters on March 6, 2026.
