After the crocodiles in Florida, a new story is brewing in New York.

Knighted by Quentin Tarantino himself, Crawl had been one of the surprises of 2019, with nearly $100 million in revenue. Five years later, the horror in troubled waters is back.

Paramount Pictures is developing Crawl 2, announces The Hollywood Reporter, which specifies that the shooting will take place in the fall in Europe. The French Alexandre Aja (The Hills Have Eyes, Piranhas 3D...) will be back to direct, he who had already staged this “survival” in a Florida house in the grip of a terrible hurricane and infested with ferocious crocodiles.

Andrew Deutschman and Jason Pagan, known for writing Almanac Projectare currently writing the script.

We already know that Crawl 2 will feature a new cast and a new location: New York City, presumably.
