John Wick: Under The High Table is in the works, and looking for a broadcaster.

The John Wick universe is expanding. Keanu Reeves had already returned to service for Ballerinawith Ana de Armas in the lead role of a young woman in the midst of a vendetta, and scheduled for June 4, 2025 in theaters. It also had its prequel series, The Continental (on Peacock), and it is once again on the small screen that the world of the assassin is exported, according to the American media Deadline.

This series project, John Wick: Under The High Tablewill be a direct sequel to the fourth installment of the franchise that began in 2014. A first synopsis indicates that while “John Wick has left the world of the High Table in a precarious position, with a myriad of new characters looking to make a name for themselves while some of the franchise’s characters remain wedded to the order of the old world.”.

Keanu Reeves, who owes his cinematic resurgence in the 2010s to the bloody saga, and Chad Stahelskiformer stuntman, director and producer of the four films in the franchise, will produce this new chapter together.

The question on everyone's lips is whether Keanu Reeves himself will be back in his dark suit for this new chapter of John Wick. For now, this question remains unanswered. Because we don't even know yet who will get the rights to this new project. Chad Stahelski, to whom Lionsgate granted the creative rights to the saga, is currently looking for a broadcaster.

In fact, the series does not yet have a release date, but promises to “to combine the new with the old and bring the Wick universe into a new era”. Add to this the production of John Wick 5 (slowed down by the writers' strike last year), and we can safely conclude that the franchise still has a bright future ahead of it.
