Anna Faris Would Be Up For Return To Scary Movie (On Two Conditions)

Paramount is preparing a new horror comedy. And the big return of Cindy Campbell?

From 2000 to 2006, Anna Faris made horror movie fans laugh a lot by playing Cindy Campbell in the saga Scary Movie. Parodying the Screams, I Know What You Did Last Summer, The Others, The Silence of the Lambs or Sixth Sensethe comedy franchise continued in 2013 with a fifth installment, but without its original heroine – this sequel was carried by Ashley Tisdale and Simon Rex.

While a Scary Movie 6 was made official at the beginning of the year by Paramount and Miramax, Anna Faris has just revealed to People that she would be willing to return to this universe, but on certain conditions.

“Well, money!, laughs the actress. No, I would love to reprise that role if Regina comes back. (Regina Hall played his best friend Brenda in the first installments). I would love to work with Regina again. I love her so much! We would start making each other laugh all day long again. So here's my answer: Regina. And money. But most of all, Regina!”

In the same interview, Anna Faris talks about the immense impact that Scary Movie about her career, and enjoys the funny talents she acquired while participating in this saga.

“I love this franchise, she confides. It was like my boot camp, it represents my beginnings. If we had to compare it, it would be like my high school years, in terms of experiences that make you grow. These four films played a very important role in my life, they taught me how to play with props, how to fall, how to get hit on the head… And how to chew Chiclets (chewing gum, editor's note) in such a way that I know how to spit them out with lots of blood at the right moment depending on the camera!”
