Sutton’s suspension is for violating the NFL’s personal conduct policy.The Detroit Lions cut Sutton this off-season when he was charged with domestic battery and evading police. Those charges have since been reduced to misdemeanor battery. Sutton will be eligible for reinstatement on Oct. 29 following the Steelers’ Week 8 game against the New York Giants.
