Democrats and the media have been exposed

Consider yesterday’s Supreme Court decision on presidential immunity. In her dissent, Sotomayor hilariously frets about the scope of Trump’s decision. She writes: “He will now be immune from criminal prosecution. Orders Navy SEAL Team Six to assassinate a political rival? Immunized. Stages a military coup to hold on to power? Immunized. Accepts a bribe in exchange for a pardon? Immunized. Immunized. Immunized. Immunized.” But this is all bullshit, and it’s frightening coming from a savvy Latina Supreme Court justice. She makes AOC look like FDR. Everything she suggests could put the president at risk of impeachment and trial. But lo and behold, the media played along.

JOY REID: If he were to use Seal Team Six to try to assassinate one of his political opponents, provided he did it under the auspices of the presidency, let's say, use the NSA to say, let me investigate the Bidens as a national security threat, and then we'll have to go ahead and assassinate them when they go on a trip abroad. We'll just use drones to assassinate them, let's say in a foreign country, and we'll use Seal Team Six to go get them like they got Bin Laden. As long as you use it, do it through the official apparatus of the presidency, he can do it.

RACHEL MADDOW: Given that the hypotheticals that were raised in these debates, as you rightly pointed out, included things like: Can the president assassinate a rival? I think we need to look at the Supreme Court's answer to that question in the affirmative. Yes, it can, with all the seriousness that it deserves. I mean, it's a death squad decision.

I like this guy. Chris Hayes. Chris Hayes. Luckily, she only works Mondays and has six days to cool off. But liberals are once again relying on extreme fantasies. Can the president use Seal Team Six to eliminate critics? Well, if he uses them on The View, they’d be called Meal Team Six. How would Trump eliminate Biden? Would he make him walk up the stairs? Would he put poison in Pelosi’s Botox? Would he replace Jerry Nadler’s Depends with a suicide diaper? In a perfect act of karma, he could tie Mitt Romney to the roof of the presidential limousine. Or maybe Trump could prosecute his political enemies on charges no one can even explain. That would be novel, wouldn’t it? But the move is easily explained.

On the one hand, if the president has no immunity for his official actions, we are left with a leader who is weighing the pros and cons of whether he will ever have to defend them in court. He will be more suspicious than Alec Baldwin's aide. But do we want a president who is immune from prosecution? That is all we have to say: a guide to the limits of presidential power. But how do you expect a man who has one foot in his mouth and the other in the grave to understand that?

JOE BIDEN: Today’s decision almost certainly means that there are virtually no limits on what a president can do. This is a fundamentally new principle and a dangerous precedent, because the power of the office will no longer be limited by law, including by the United States Supreme Court.

Shut up. Nobody's listening to you. You know, we're just waiting to see if you're going to snap. This ruling basically means that Trump can do whatever he wants when it comes to the sitting president. And I say sit because standing is a lot to ask of Joe these days. Chewing is a lot to ask of him these days. It's not like Biden or whoever's running the show won't use these new powers. It's the White House that has brought four criminal cases against Trump, with an unelected defense attorney hounding Trump the way Ana Navarro hounds the hot dog vendors on Sixth Avenue.

If Biden officials thought they could silence the RNC, Biden’s teleprompter would say “ready, aim, fire,” and Biden would say “ready, aim, fire,” end quote. But why does every Supreme Court decision or every word Trump says cause a meltdown, the kind you usually see in Jesse’s dressing room when he runs out of Aqua Net? Well, that’s what happens when you see everything through the prism of one man, when one human being becomes the embodiment of every flaw and fear in your life. I swear I haven’t seen a single man cause this much hysteria since I last went on my book tour shirtless.

So is it the end of the world? Well, if you are part of the media or the accomplices who hid the most prominent dementia patient in the country, the answer is yes, it is. You have been exposed. As have I, when I forget to wear pants under my leggings. So, once again, the left is trying to distract us from this other story. The one that says we don’t have a president. Look over here. Ignore this vegetable. But there is a contradiction. First, if Trump is so evil, why do you have to make up these crimes? And if defeating Trump is so vital to saving the world, then why are you clowns giving him a glazed doughnut?

But you see, if they don’t make this a Trump apocalypse story, we’re back to an incompetent Biden. So they’re back to the same absurd point: Trump’s madness fueled by hysteria, which reveals two problems. For Democrats, this hysteria is a drug to escape reality. Life sucks right now, but if I just take more of this fantasy pill, it will go away temporarily.

But instead, it gets worse because this doomsday filter doesn’t produce any accurate predictions. And over time, people realize that your rants are hoaxes. And so one of the greatest political scams in history is exposed. And so you are witnessing the end of an era. A time when hoaxes were the foundation of power. Maybe now we can get back to normal, where governance is based on competence and not on something imaginary like Joe’s pulse.
