Shuri in Avengers 5? “I still have a lot of things to do” in the MCU

Actress Letitia Wright teases her upcoming return to the Marvel Universe.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe is on hiatus, in 2024, with the only Deadpool & Wolverine At the movie theater. But the old heroes will soon return to theaters. While Benedict Cumberbacht recently announced his comeback for Avengers 5, Letitia Wright assures for his part that his Black Panther will also return. “Let's just say… I want to continue playing Shuri. She's one of my favorite characters. I'm very grateful to her. There's a lot of things happening for Shuri, a lot of things to come. ..”

Letitia Wright picked up the Black Panther costume after Chadwick Boseman's death. For now, Black Panther 3 is not planned at Marvel, but the actress said in 2023 that a project was “already in preparation”.

More certainly, when she evokes “things to come“, she mentions the films Avengers 5 (May 2026) and Avengers: Secret Wars (May 2027) which should bring together a number of MCU heroes.
