When Under the Seine is a hit on Netflixanother memorable shark film from recent years returns to the small screen. 47 Meters Down will be offered at 9:05 p.m. on TFX, this Friday evening.

Released in June 2017 in the United States, 47 Meters Down brought in 44 million dollars, for a budget of only 5 million. A success which can be explained by the effectiveness of its pitch: two sisters, Lisa (Mandy Moore) and Kate (Claire Holt) are on vacation in Mexico to go scuba diving, in a cage, to observe sharks. And guess what? The ascent mechanism jams and there they are stuck 47 meters deep, at the mercy of the sharks, with an hour of oxygen in their tanks…
