The star of The Bear intends to give voice in Deliver Me From Nowhere.

Can you play Bruce Springsteen in a movie and pretend to sing? Jeremy Allen White, who will play “The Boss” in the biopic Deliver Me From Nowhere of Scott Cooper doesn't seem to believe it. Asked by Variety during the premiere of season 3 of the series The Bear (broadcast on July 17 on Disney+), the actor assured that he “ would do his best ” to pay tribute to Springsteen's very particular voice. And to assure that he has so far refused to make contact with the singer for a very specific reason: ” We communicated a little through other people (…) We still have timing issues to resolve and I'm trying to find my own way to play the role before meeting the guy in person. I want to try to understand him so that when we finally meet, I have enough confidence in myself not to give up. »

Deliver Me From Nowhere will return to the creation of the cult album Nebraska, which notably contains the hit Born in the USA. For the moment, no filming date and even less release date. As a reminder, Scott Cooper directed Crazy Heart, The Blazes of Wrath, Scrictly Criminal, Hostiles Or The Pale Blue Eye.
