REBEL MOON PART 1 AND 2 (DIRECTOR'S CUT) – film – August 2

As he had done a few years ago with Justice LeagueZack Snyder (300, Sucker Punch), offers HIS version, his “Snyder Cut” of the two films Rebel Moon. WORST EX EVER – documentary – August 14

Genre “true crime” has never been more popular than in recent times. Riding this wave, Netflix will offer a new documentary from August exploring true stories of abusive ex-partners, the horrors experienced by the victims with shocking testimonies and reconstructions. The complete synopsis: “From betrayals to deadly plots, this true-crime documentary series explores the dark side of love through eyewitness accounts.”

EMILY IN PARISseason 4, first part – series – August 15

Most frenchie American Girls is back in the capital – but not for long, because dear Emily might just be able to treat herself to a Roman getaway this season.

THE UNION – film – August 16

Mark Wahlberg plays an average guy who gets recruited by his ex-girlfriend played by Halle Berry to join an international intelligence agency and become… a spy! A film that mixes love and action.

IN PLACEseason 2 – series – August 29

KAOS – series – August 29

It's one of the most anticipated series of the summer – a modern and spicy retelling of Greek mythology in which the self-centered gods led by Zeus (Jeff Goldblum) sow chaos among Humans. But the latter are not blind and, guided by a certain Prometheus, they will defy the Immortals. Blood, hanged men, vulgarity and dark humor, Kaos looks like hell.

TERMINATOR ZERO – animated – August 29

The cult franchise is leaving the films aside to give itself a new lease of life through an animated series by Masashi Kudō (best known for his work on Bleach) and Mattson Tomlin (notably co-writer of The Batman). An original concept whose plot is based on Malcom Lee, an engineer who wants to compete with Skynet and who finds himself pursued by a Terminator from the future to kill him. A mysterious warrior, Eiko, is sent to protect him. All voiced by Timothy Oliphant, Rosario Dawnson and Sonoya Mizuno (Mysaria in House of the Dragon).

Netflix subscribers will also be able to (re)watch classic films: 1917, The Virgin Suicides And The Night of the 12th (César for best film 2023), or from the small screen: the complete works of Mad Men and of LOST are planned for this August.
