INVESTIGATORS BELIEVE THE DRUGS MAY HAVE BEEN MANUFACTURED POSSIBLY BY MEXICAN CARTELS, BACK IN THE DAY, WE WOULD HAVE HOME COOKS WHERE PEOPLE WOULD COOK OUT OF THEIR HOUSE AND THE QUANTITY AND THE QUALITY OF IT WAS SUCH OF A LOWER GRADE. MANY WERE ALREADY ARRESTED BEFORE WEDNESDAY’S PRESS CONFERENCE, BUT OFFICERS FANNED OUT ACROSS CUMBERLAND AND DAUPHIN COUNTIES TO MAKE MORE ARRESTS. THIS IS A MASSIVE OPERATION. Authorities in Pennsylvania issued more than 50 arrest warrants in a major drug investigation targeting methamphetamine distribution.At a Wednesday morning news conference in Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, District Attorney Sean McCormack said the warrants were part of “Operation Speed Bump.”McCormack said the operation targeted meth distribution potentially linked to Mexican cartels.”What really caught our interest was the quality of the drugs that we were seeing. We recognized it, and some of it has been sent down to DEA to test. And we’re being told this is consistent with the product that’s being made outside the United States and smuggled into the United States,” McCormack said.
