4 years after The Queen's Gambit, Anya Taylor-Joy returns to Netflix

This is a spine-chilling title! After blowing up the roads of Mad Max In Furiosa, Anya Taylor-Joy will be the star of How to Kill Your Familya series adaptation of Bella Mackie's bestselling novel “How I Killed My Family.”

A dark thriller for Netflix, which will mark the reunion of the English actress with the platform that made her a star with The Queen's Gambit (in 2020).

How to Kill Your Family will be an eight-episode mini-series, where Anya Taylor-Joy will play the murderous protagonist Grace Bernard who has “a complicated family. Her father is Simon Artemis, a billionaire and ruthless social climber. She is the product of an affair he claims not to remember, and Grace and her mother have been abandoned,” the synopsis teases. “When her mother dies and she is rejected by the people who should love her, Grace turns her anger into something useful: killing this estranged extended family through morbidly creative means. Grace works her way to revenge and a hefty inheritance, but her mission only pushes her further away from what she truly needs…”

How to Kill Your Family will be written by Emma Moran (Extraordinary).
