30 years after Bad Boys, Will Smith will reunite with Michael Bay

The star and director are set to make a film together called Fast and Loose.

It was he who made Will Smith an action movie star. In 1995, before Independence DayBefore Men in Black, the young hero of Fresh Prince of Bel-Air was one of the two Bad Boys in Miami, in a breathtaking thriller, under the leadership of Michael Bay. The director of'Armaggedon found Will Smith some time later for Bad Boys 2 (2003). And 20 years later, it's reunion time.

Will Smith And Michael Bay should get together for the action movie Fast and Loosein preparation at Netflix. Smith will star and Bay will direct. Note that the filmmaker has not directed anything since the very successful Ambulancein 2022, with Jake Gyllenhaal, which unfortunately flopped at the box office, with only $50 million in worldwide revenue.

So what will it be about? Fast and Loose will follow “a man who wakes up in Tijuana with no memories. As he pieces together his past, he discovers that he has lived two lives: one as a crime lord and the other as an undercover CIA agent.

Jon Hoeber, Erich Hoeber, Chris Bremner and Eric Pearson wrote the screenplay. No release date yet.

This announcement did not fail to provoke a reaction from Martin Lawrence, the other star of Bad Boys, who humorously appealed to Michael Bay via his X account (formerly Twitter):
