28 years later, there is a first cryptic teaser with a code… in Morse!

An island, a symbol, a date… It's all very mysterious.

It's a very mysterious teaser, which Sony Pictures Entertainment has just revealed. A first video to announce 28 years laterthe sequel produced by Danny Boyle.

The third part of the horrific saga that began in 2002 features a first 13-second clip, which reveals a distressing red symbol of contamination, but also an island hidden between flashes.

No actors appear – don't look Cillian Murphy – but fans have already understood that the video actually contained a code, dictated in Morse code throughout this short video. The message states “Tuesday”, which should certainly be understood as a clue to the release date of the official trailer.

We should see the first glimpse of 28 years later this Tuesday, December 10.

The film, starring Jodie Comer, Ralph Fiennes and Aaron Taylor-Johnson, as well as Cillian Murphy, will be released on June 18, 2025 in France in cinemas.
