Sequel movie to the popular sci-fi survival action series “28 Days Later…''“28 Years Later”It turns out that the photo was taken with an iPhone 15.
According to US WIRED, the iPhone 15 Pro Max was used as the main camera for this film, and some scenes were filmed by attaching small cameras to animals.The production cost of $75 million is the highest ever for a film shot using a smartphone.It is said that
“28 Days Later…'' (2002) is a story about the survival of those who survived, set in London where a virus that turns humans violent is rampant. This is the third film in the series, with the return of director Danny Boyle and the return of Anthony Dodd Mantle, who worked on the same film, as cinematographer. The two used the then-state-of-the-art digital camera Canon XL-1 for filming “28 Days Later…'' and used an ambitious shooting style for this film as well.
Filming was supposed to end at the end of August 2024, but it was not revealed until now due to a non-disclosure agreement that the shooting was done with an iPhone 15. Starring Jodie Comer from “Free Guy” (2021), Aaron Taylor-Johnson from “Bullet Train” (2022), and Ralph Fiennes from the “Harry Potter” series.
“28 Years Later'' is scheduled to be the start of a new trilogy, with all scripts written by Alex Garland, who also wrote “28 Days Later''. The second film is reportedly currently being filmed under Marvel's (2023) director Nia DaCosta. Cillian Murphy, who starred in the first film, is participating as an executive producer, but it is unclear whether he will appear as an actor.
The movie “28 Years Later'' is scheduled to be released in the United States on June 20, 2025.. Sony Pictures will be in charge of distribution.
