Between the rhinestones, the glitter, the effusions. Almost two decades after the end of The West Wingthe main actors found themselves on the stage of the Emmy Awards this weekend, to the great delight of the audience, all the happier as it was probably a surprise.

Martin Sheen, Allison Janney, Dulé Hill, Janel Moloney, Richard Schiff: they were all there, with the notable exception of the series creator. Aaron Sorkinto celebrate 25 years of The West Wing (At the White Housein French). In the eponymous setting, the actors launched into a speech with biting humor.
“It's hard to believe that it's been 25 years since Aaron and the writers have been so imaginative in creating interesting storylines for The West Wing“, for example, Janney said mockingly.
During its broadcast, At the White House won 27 Emmy Awards out of 98 nominations and is often cited as one of the best series of all time. With sharp dialogues, a very particular direction, it continues to mark an era, the early 2000s.
Martin Sheenwho played the President, reprises his role on the Los Angeles stage, visibly taking a malicious pleasure in being the centre of attention.
