And so, I think, around my neighborhood, they do a pretty good job. They try really hard to keep those roads nice and clear. So, I hope tomorrow, for everybody driving to work, that it will be a safe commute,” Jackie Demoise said. Public Works advises against driving unless necessary and urges residents to move cars off the street. “The less cars on the road, the better. And please, take it easy and be a responsible motorist. Have good tires and have that little safety kit on you with the gallon, the water, and the blanket, and all the things that AAA tells you to have,” Crean said. The county and city ask for patience and say that roads will be treated within 24 hours of the last snowfall, with drivers taking a couple of hours to complete routes and reload.
