She will answer the call of the Ancestors and set off on an adventure in the Pacific…
The ocean is calling again. The new trailer for Vaiana 2 that has just been released by Disney reveals the reasons that will push the young Polynesian heroine to set off on an adventure in the Pacific. Present at D23, in California, this weekend, Auli'i Cravalho (which dubs in the original version) explains that when the young woman is found, she will have spent her time searching for nearby islands in the hope that there are more people beyond the waters she sailed.
Until one day she receives an unexpected call from her ancestors. She must then embark on a journey to the distant seas of Oceania, in dangerous and long-lost waters.
The sequel takes place three years after the events of the 2016 film and Vaiana will have a little sister who is revealed in the video: the adorable Simea (played by Khaleesi Lambert-Tsuda).
Directed by David Derrick Jr., Jason Hand and Dana Ledoux Miller, Vaiana 2 will be released in theaters on November 27.
